    Tea Sloane is a Bay Area-based yoga practitioner, who has dedicated half of her life (5.5 years in total) to her practice. She officially completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in summer 2017 and is now offering a donation-based class at the Lafayette reservoir as well as classes at local high schools.

    Tea Sloane is accomplished in
    Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and can do that one tricky bridge backbend pose. In an effort to deepen her practice, Tea has studied yoga in multiple cities that start with the letter “s,” such as Stockholm, Sydney, and (S)new York City (the “s” is silent). Throughout her travels, yoga has been a great way to make friends and make her enemies contort themselves into uncomfortable positions. But Tea isn’t just a yoga guru, she’s also a person just like you or me. So when she is not attempting to widen her stiff-jointed parents’ limited range of motion, Tea Sloane can be found cooking, playing basketball, and scootering down the path of enlightenment.
